Day 46: Final Test

So today I believe that we took the last test for human geography. I really enjoyed this class, and thought everything was interesting. Through the ups and downs, I learned a lot from this class, and it got us to think about the world around us. The test today was okay, but as always they are some questions that probably tricked me.

But we will see..

Day 45: We studied

Today we had a study hall, because we were ahead of the other classes.

Day 44: Bill Nye

Bill Nye the science guy has been a person that has appeared in my science classes (in video form) ever since I can remember. He always seem enthusiastic, making science seem really interesting and fun, using all of these crazy sound effects and transitions to hook the audience. Today in human geography class, we went over some notes, but we also talked about Bill Nye. It was kind of nostalgic to revisit one of the most known scientists in the world. But today I learned that he did not only make science videos, but he has also done many other things, such as write a few books on religion vs. science, appear at conferences in multiple colleges, and even participated in TV shows before I was even born. That is indeed interesting, its good to know more about Bill than his catchy theme song. Finally, I think it is smart of him to make a video on climate change, because with his good examples and his scientific attitude, I know that he will be able to influence people into being more responsible about our world.

And the climate change train can slow down...

Day 43: Earth is dying, who cares?

I am really surprised that a lot of people in my class don't mind the whole "climate change" issue. They don't really seem to mind, because it is not something that will affect their lives right now. I actually believe all of the facts that we learned in human geography over the past few days, and I myself try to save whatever electricity I can, so that the plants don't have to use so many non-renewable resources. But if you think about it, this is an issue that need everyone to cooperate. You know, since people say Donald Trump is so cool, I want to see him talk about issues like these, to see if he actually cares about our planet, the place we live in. Right now, the consequences seem small, but if people never start caring, the earth will change from a "cool" place to live in to a lifeless ball.

Someday, I am pretty sure people will start caring...

Day 42: Money or Earth?

Today in human geography, we continued to discuss the importance of global warming, and how all the pollution is destroying our only protection against the potent rays of the sun. I mean, big companies could further contribute to the world (like they are meant to do), make the world a better place and start researching on Eco-friendly upgrades. In my opinion, car companies could easily start making research on electric cars, considering the billions of dollars they have. But for them it would be a "loss" of money. I wish companies would stop thinking so much about money and start focusing more one their clients, and the world we live in. Most companies really don't care about the outside world anymore, they just want money. I hope in the future, someone is brave enough to take the first step into solving this pollution problem, that has been going on for centuries.

We will see...

Day 41: Not rekt!

I don't want to seem really cocky, but that test was not hard. I studied, so I would not get rekt again, and I didn't, In pretty sure I got a ding this time. I think the only reason I might not get a 90+ is because I could not spell the Yahoo guy's name. Hopefully my AWESOME teacher will count that despite the monstrous spelling ;'). And that #33 question, it was not hard or anything, but I think it was a trick question. You see, the shaded area was the United States, so the president is Barack Obama. But I think some people thought that answer could not be, and they overthink-ed  it and put down something else. Mr.Schick is really clever, I like his tests.  was struggling the first semester, but now, I really, truly, enjoy his class.

The most important thing today, was that on this fill in the blank test, I did not get rekt (like last time)...

Day 40: No Teacher

So what happens when you sit down in your seat in the begging of class, and the teacher doesn't show up to the room, for 40 minutes. Are you allowed to leave class? That is what most students thought you could do, but you are actually supposed to dial 0 to call the office, and notify them that your teacher is not here. But who wants to call the office so that a substitute comes in, and then you actually have to do work? No one, I don't think any person would want to do that, specially because everyone will always recognize you as the biggest snake in snake history. They should really revise the system, I am just saying. Oh, what did we do in human geography? We talked about presidents, but you already know that. I just wanted to mention how the school should focus on true problems, instead of foolishly blocking you tube and undoing their deed in less than 2 days.

But you know, sometimes, you just have to eat a bagel.
